Born and raised in Rockville, Maryland, Valerie spent most of her childhood playing sports with her five older siblings, reading, and running throughout her neighborhood with friends. Her favorite pastime has always been soaking in the sun at the beach during family vacations.

Valerie graduated from the University of Dallas in 2024 with a BA in English and concentration in Spanish. During her time in college, Valerie served as Editor-in-Chief of a university literary magazine and participated in two study abroad programs, cherishing the opportunity to combine traveling with the study of the liberal arts and Western Civilization.

Valerie is passionate about drawing others closer to Christ by separating oneself from the technological woes of modern life and engaging with God’s creation to the fullest extent. Even though she will be working in an administrative role, Valerie looks forward to learning new sports, skills, and ways to enjoy the outdoors during her time at COR.
