COR for Credit
As an outreach of Wyoming Catholic College, all COR trips provide a standard curriculum parallel to the WCC credit-based weeklong trips. Consequently, any participant, regardless of whether he/she is currently enrolled in WCC, can take a COR trip for college credit. These trips vary in location, activities, time of year, group size, etc. Any COR trip, as long as it has a minimum of five program days (not counting travel days, which are typically the first and last day of the trip), can be approved as a for-credit course. See below for a list of available credit options.
While the primary learning environment is the time spent in the backcountry, there is additional work that takes place outside of the trip itself. This includes readings/assignments prior to the trip and a reflection paper or discussion following the trip.
Receive college credit from accredited Wyoming Catholic College at the 300-400 level
Credits are currently available in Leadership (ELP), Humanities (HMN), Science (SCI), abd Theology (THL)
Cost per credit is $500
