The Family Ranch Getaway is a week spent with a small group of other Catholic families from around the country at a rustic Wyoming ranch.
While there, you will enjoy delicious meals, comfortable accommodations, and the opportunity to participate in Western activities, such as horseback riding, archery, rock climbing, packrafting or canoeing, hiking and more with your whole family. Take advantage of limited cell service and enjoy the chance to connect with your spouse and children face-to-face and be nourished by daily Mass, time for prayer and Confession, and quality conversations with other Catholic parents. This is truly a week like none other, and books extremely quickly.

Activities & Programs
A Family Ranch Getaway provides a variety of family-centered adventures including horseback riding, rock climbing, packrafting or canoeing, fishing, hiking, and archery. When you arrive at the Ranch, our staff will help you create a schedule for your stay based on your family’s interests and your children’s ages and abilities.
In addition to the daytime activities, each evening you’ll be invited to join in community events such as a sing-along around the campfire, a conversation night for the parents while the kids play games with the staff, or an old-fashioned country porch party complete with line dancing.
Although the Family Getaway is not a retreat, it is intended to be an opportunity for your family to be fed spiritually. Mass, Confession, rosary walks, and other opportunities to experience the spiritual life as a family will be available daily.
Meals & Accommodations
All meals are included! High quality, family-friendly meals are served daily.
During the Getaway, your family will stay in one of several cabins on the property. Each cabin is unique and they vary in size and capacity. Lodging will be assigned based upon the number of people in your family so as to best accommodate all families in attendance.

"The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful. We were outdoors every day. And the community was filled with joy. We are inspired to get back to work building a Catholic community at home that is as beautiful as what I saw in just five short days at a ranch with a bunch of strangers."

"We were so grateful to be surrounded by such a beautiful setting. Our family had time to both pray and play together. The staff of students are such wonderful role models, and we loved learning about each of their stories. The rosary around the bonfire was such a beautiful way to end each day. We feel grateful to have learned about COR and this wonderful experience."

"As a family with young children, life can be exhausting at times. The refreshment God gave through a week at the Hawkeye was exactly what our souls needed."
