Hannah Sullivan

Hannah grew up in Phoenix, AZ where she made the Sonoran desert her backyard. When she wasn’t playing in the mud, she could be found with her father exploring slot-canyons in the Grand Canyon, horseback riding with her mother, or hunting with her cousins. Hannah loved taking friends skiing, cliff jumping, and day-hiking around northern Arizona during high school and being involved with her parish.
Hannah attended the University of Dallas and graduated with a B. A. in English Literature. There, she deepened her understanding of the Western Tradition and grew in her love for the liberal arts. She spent four months studying abroad in Rome, Italy and two months backpacking through Southern Spain while studying Spanish at the Universidad Católica de Ávila.
This past summer, Hannah was an intern for COR Expeditions and earned her Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification. During her time in the field, Hannah was deeply moved by the power of the wilderness to transform people and the space it creates for individuals to encounter God. In her missionary work, she hopes to lead others towards spiritual renewal through encounters with beauty and the Sacraments in the back-country.
