Elizabeth “Betz” Meluch
Elizabeth Meluch grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. Drawn to Wyoming Catholic College by the unique pairing of the wild and the Great Books, Betz graduated from WCC in 2018 with the John Paul II Award for excellence in the integration of body, mind, and spirit. She especially loved the horsemanship, philosophy, and wilderness aspects of the curriculum and hopes to make each a lifelong pursuit. Since graduation, Betz has instructed kids in Equine Assisted Therapy, is working towards her certification as a doula, and has guided dozens of COR trips as an adjunct instructor. Now as a full-time Course Director for COR, Betz works as a field missionary, trains new instructors, and supports other missionaries in preparing for and executing courses. She is grateful to have experienced Christ’s renewal through the wilderness and the COR community, and to invite others to encounter the same. She takes great joy in skiing, live music, Russian literature, fixing whisperlite camp stoves, and being barefoot.
